The translation of the inscription is given below:

  1. O God, forgive Ḥārith
  2. ibn al-Muṭallib as he testifies that
  3. verily there is no
  4. deity except God alone
  5. without any partner.
  6. And he wrote in the
  7. year nine and sevent
  8. y.
