Contents
The translation of the inscription is given below. The Arabic part is in italics:
- I am Maimūn, mawla of
- Abū Maryam, mawla of Rabbaḥ,
- We ask for Paradise as our abode
- and angels as bearers of message.
- And written in [the year] eighty.
Comments
This inscription was found on the Ḥajj route from Syria.[1]
