The translation of the inscription is:
- Allah's mercy and
- blessing be upon ʿAbd
- al-Raḥman bin Khalid
- bin al-ʿAṣ, and written
- in the year 40.
Comments
This inscription was found on the Darb Zubayda caravan route at Wādī 'l-Shamiya during an archaeological survey in 1970s.
