Comments
This earthen bowl was manufactured for Prince Sulaymān b. ʿAbd al-Malik before his ascension to the throne 96-98 AH / 715-717 CE. The dedictory inscription has been molded in relief around the rim between two cord-shaped lines and is partly broken off.
