Arab-Sassanian coin of the governor ‘Abd al-‘Azīz ibn ‘Abd Allāh ibn Āmir, Sistan, frozen in 66 AH.

66 AH / 685-686 CE.
Contents
Obverse field: Typical late Arab-Sassanian bust. Obverse margin: bism Allāh al-ʿazīz ("In the name of God, the Great") followed by three dots in second and third quadrant of obverse margin.
Reverse field: Typical Arab-Sassanian fire-altar with attendants with mint (Sijistān).
Comments
This coin comes with a hephtalite countermark and testmark. Weight = 4.0 gms.
Location
Not known. Similar coins are also found in the British Museum, London.
