Provenance

Oxyrhynchus, Egypt.

Size

About 10.7 cm. x 5.2 cm.

It contain fragment of a leaf from a papyrus codex.

Contents

It contain John 6:8-12 (recto) and John 6:17-22 (verso).

Textual Character

The text shows is eclectic in places, as often happens in early Biblical Mss., but tends to support B rather than .

The Alands call P28 a "normal" text. According to Metzger, the text type is Alexandrian.

Writing

The script is medium-sized semi-uncial.
