In the section of Tafsîr (exegesis) of the Qur'ân we will be discussing some of the issues surrounding the tafsîr of the Qur'ân.
It has been seen that the verses of the Qur'ân frequently used by the Christian missionaries to 'show' many things such as the Muslims are obliged to follow the older Scriptures such as Torah, Zabur and Injîl had resulted in starting their own methodology of 'tafsîr' of the Qur'ân. The Muslims should be beware of such 'tafsîrs' as it misrepresents and violates the basic principles which are involved in the exegesis of the Qur'ân. For details please read the below section carefully on principles of tafsîr of the Qur'ân.
